Katie was all of our joy and inspiration; a wise and loving presence in our family. Often referred to as “Katiebird”, she will always be remembered in the kitchen preparing family meals and baking her famous pies, in her flower gardens, and writing thank you notes and letters. Katie loved swimming, playing cards, travelling and her wonderful collection of hats, but most of all her love was expressed for God and her family. She will be sadly missed by her parish at Saint Francis Xavier and her loved ones.
Family will receive relatives and friends at The Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday May 17th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
